From just about the time we start talking people ask us what we want to do when we grow up. As a child you get a lot of answers. I think that my youngest, Cian, is the only one that has said (jokingly I hope) he wanted to be an alcoholic comedian. However, there are times he makes me pause.
Right now I am striving to be more productive and successful. It's not always easy. There are just so many hours in a day and only so much one can do in them. In my mind I have these wonderful ideas. If I could get my mind and body in sync I think I would be doing fantastic. However, (I think they are contemplating divorce. I'm not sure how that's going to work.)
What I do know for certain is this: you will get out of something as much as you honestly put in it. You cannot sit around the house waiting for someone to just stop by and bask in your awesomeness. Life doesn't work that way. If you are playing baseball and you are up at bat you have to swing at the ball in order to hit it. Depending on who is pitching it might actually be a life saver. I know from experience that if you stand around and let that ball hit you in the head it's gonna hurt.
